Hello, @hania--- – Hope you are well 🙂

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.

I understand that your HP Spectre is shutting down by itself. To assist you better, I need to know a few more details:

Heat: Is the getting hot?

Battery: When using AC (When the power cable is connected), does it turn itself off?

Another reason for this issue could be an issue with the laptop battery. Please use the following instructions to check the battery: http://hp.care/2cMZFxJ

Please let me know whether that works for you. Good luck!

Cheers 🙂
