battery discharging issue

Welcome to HP Forums @Rajesh4868

Thanks for the post.

I see that you are not happy with the battery runtime you are receiving from the computer. I would like to help.

Firstly, HP does not recommend changing the operating system or the specification of the computer. It can be done at your own risk.

Based on the specification of your computer http://hp.care/2fTUifh the computer came with Windows 10 64bit and you have mentioned Linux.

Recommend you to run a battery test on the computer by the booting the PC system diagnostics by tapping F2 on startup.

If the test fails, capture the failure id and contact phone support by filling the form on www.hp.com/contacthp

If the test passes, please refer to this article http://hp.care/2fTWp2I for calibration.

You can also refer to article http://hp.care/2fTYVpN for battery troubleshooting.

Let me know if this helped.
