battery draining even after shutdown

HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i have a HP PAVILION 15 NOTEBOOK PC . After completing my work when i  shut it down and after a day or two i open it again then i find that my battery is drained.please let me know what i can do to solve this issue!!!

You need to go into Control Panel --> Power Options and see what settings are there for when you turn off the PC.

 

It could be that a form of hibernation known as Fast Startup is enabled, and if that is the case, even when you turn off the laptop, it is still idling.

Thanks for the suggestion but i have already disabled fast boot! If you have any other issue in mind that could cause the aforesaid problem or any other suggestion ,please do tell!
