Hi,

 

If you enter an incorrect password 3 times ( or just hit enter 3 times ) you should get a halt code displayed - post back with this code.

Hi,

 

I have an elitebook 8470p and I don't know the BIOS administrator password. When I press enter 3 times I get a keyboard and then when I press it again I don't get a code.

Can you help please?

I despered looking  for  an solution  for mine compaq 2230S  with an administrator  password

 

After  three times   I don't  get an code  only an keyboard  on  the screen

Does  that  mean  he  only option  is an bios chip replacement ??

 

I  hope  you can give some   help
