I have an entertainment laptop dv6833us.  I would like to update the bios. The only options provided are for Windows Vista. Since I'm running Windows 10, I'm sure my bios is having issues. Intel Core 2 Duo T5550@1.83ghz. Any ideas?

Not anything you want to hear...

Nice computer -- up until a while ago I still had a couple of notebooks of a similar vintage.

BIOS updates for the new OS are not going to be provided for your computer.

Windows 10 is touted as being able to run on just about any hardware -- there are limits, though, to "how well" the Operating System responds to old tech.

If you budget allows the expense, it is time to consider a shiny, new computer with Windows 10 (Pro) installed.
