hi im not very computer minded and the blue keeps spining on the hp advisor popup which says 1 important alerts .evan the hp tool bar at the top dose the same i cant click on the x to close it as it just spins

Step 1: Restart the notebook

 

Step 2: Once it's restarted you'll need to close the HP Total Care Advisor by right-clicking the icon for it in the task tray and selecting exit. 

 

Step 3: Now please go to the start menu and run the HP Update program (found under the HP folder or by typing Update into the start search)

 

Ideally by performing this step you will not face this issue anymore

Hi thanks for the help its a hp pavilion pc not a note book not sure if that makes a difference.
I did try to restart it and it was still there every time I go over any hp pop up it just spins I will see if I can follow your advice. Many thanks
