Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are unable to use your Bluetooth headset without the matching peripheral. To use that headset you are going to need to find or replace the peripheral. If you need a replacement, you can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to see what replacement options are available.
Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to get your headset to work, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Did you install the HP bluetooth driver for your model?
That may be the issue if you haven't.
Here is the link to the driver...
This package contains the software required to support the HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology in supported notebook models running a supported operating system. The HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology provides wireless connectivity to other devices from the integrated module of the supported notebooks. It also provides additional Bluetooth Profiles.
