Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to increase the voltage to the CPU. I would like to help.

Kudos to you for the running a test on the computer.

The performance of the CPU will change based on the applications required or running on the computer.

If you fell that the computer is running slow, recommend you to make sure all the drivers are updated using HP Support Assistant and Windows updates are installed.

For the troubleshooting steps to improve the performance of your computer, please refer to this HP Article

First of all, thank you for replying and I appreciate your time and efforts,

I understand you have installed Ubuntu and now you have an issue with the display, don't worry as I have a few steps which should help you to resolve this concern,

I would suggest you check for the bios update and graphics card update, if available for your PC, using this link.

Next thing, I would suggest is to Uninstall grove, using a third party such as CCleaner and then reinstall it.

I hope this should help. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

If you wish to help others looking for the same solution as you've found, mark the post as Accepted Solution.
