dv4 1318tu graphic card option??

i have dv4 1318tu model with intel inbuild graphic card, but the gaming performance is not up to mark. so can anyone guide me, if i can install graphic card(dedicated GPU memory) for my laptop?? please respond, i regret the option of buying without graphic card.. Smiley Sad

Hi,

That is not an option available for your laptop.

Only a (very) few of the high end (Quite expensive ones!)  laptops have that capability.

That is a new and cutting edge technology.

The law of economy of scale and the current global market haven't allowed that to penetrate into the mainstream consumer laptop market. Maybe in six to 10 years it will be the norm.

 

When you selected your laptop, you effectively locked yourself into the integrated video chip solution it came with. That can be a big disappointment. A desktop PC is a different cattegory. Smiley Wink
