I have been having several problems for my laptop from the start. The hp assistants have not been successful in fixing the problems.

Contacted several times. They took control over the screen, downloaded files, asked me to format seversl times. No fix.

The product was for 57K rupees.  The system (i5 6th gen 2.30GHz processor) has 8 GB RAM, 4GB External Graphic Card Nvedia 940 MX. 2GB Internal graphic card.

The screen still blinks though they have tried removing the problem.

The audio suddenly goes to minimum when the sound is played externally. That one issue was fixed. Thank to them.

The system (i5 6th gen)has  8 GB RAM, 4GB External Graphic Card Nvedia 940 MX. The laptop gets stuck for playing a FIFA 14 game not even for an hour continuously. In the meantime, the system gets heated up. Can't  do multiple tasks and its slow

Need support from you people so HP can consider this seriously.

Hi @pratarp,

Good Day.  A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the post regarding overheating issues, screen flashing issues and freezing  issues with the computer.  I will be delighted to assist you here.

Splendid description, brilliant troubleshooting and great observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

To assist you accurately I would require more information regarding this.

  • Please let me know the complete model# of the computer and the operating system used.
  • Have you run complete diagnostics on the computer?

For a start, please perform a complete hardware system diagnostics on the computer from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03467259 and run both the extensive tests that take roughly 2 hours to run along with the component tests.

If any component fails, Please make a note of the failure code and contact HP phone support to get the computer serviced. Anyway, it still looks like a hardware issue after so much of troubleshooting. Please contact Technical support to get the computer serviced.

  • HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
  • Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
  • Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
  • Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
  • Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
  • They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services is taken care of by the manufacturer’s warranty

Please update the bios, chipset drivers, graphics, sound and network drivers also from this link: http://hp.com/drivers  Please follow the onscreen instructions.

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, please. Please note that I am not overloading you with a lot of troubleshooting steps.

Instead, just like you, I am eager to ensure that the problem gets resolved. So I am providing you with more resources and information at your disposal to deal with the situation better.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care now and have a superb week ahead. 🙂
