how to download a window 8.1 media for my hp laptop

Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

hello

 

i am yogendra sing i want to know that how can i get window 8.1 single language  media for my hp laptop from microsoft so that in case of failure i will recover my laptop.

 

second thing is that which one is best for creating the recovery media disk

1.DVD

2.Pendrive

If your PC came with an HP OEM version of Win8.1, anything you download from MS will NOT activate because the product key embedded in the UEFI firmware of the motherboard will only work with an HP OEM version of Windows.  HP does not provide downloads for their recovery media; instead, you have to order the disks.

 

Regarding downloading from MS, they require a product key -- and we can not provide you with one.
