hi...thanks for the password..worked now..want to asking more...why always asking password when i turn on my notebook..is the internal battery causing problems and i should replace with the new one or any others suggestion for this?

The RTC battery must be flat. It needs to be replaced.

 

The RTC battery function is to provide current to the eeprom BIOS chip that allows it to hold the settings. Usually a tip off that the battery is dead is that the date/time does not stay set.

Jogers.

 

Use that code to go into the BIOS.

 

Disable all passwords that are enabled.

 

When asked for the CURRENT password use that code.

 

When asked for NEW password just hit enter.

 

If asked to VERIFY password just hit enter.

 

Save and exit.
