hp pavilion dv7 notebook - BIOS help.

HP Recommended

tried looking around for a solution to this everywhere, but the only solution i have found is pressing f10 on startup, which for me does nothing.

i have a dv7 Notebook Pc, with windows 7. any idea why i cant access the BIOS? am i pressing the key at the wrong time?

excuse me if i sound a little dumb, im really not with it when it comes to the actual workings of a pc. before anyone suggests it i've seen and tried this http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02035108

as i said, pressing f10 does nothing.

Turn the laptop on, as soon as you see the HP spash screen press the ESC key, the menu will pop up, then press F10 to get to the Bios screen.

Use "Esc" Key in the very begining of your Pc startup

Additional Keys

F1 - System Info

F2 - System Test (as i remember)

Hope this might help...
