Hi,

           Its recommended to create set of recovery disk before upgrading the operating system. You have one option to get back to previous version of operating system using the go back option if you have done the upgrade within last 30 days.

Check the link below for more information

http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04730900

Or you have to order a set of recovery disk by contacting HP

Regards

Mahemac

Hi,

             The Go Back option is not from the recovery partation, after upgrade of the OS few changes will happen by which you will not be able to use the recovery partation. So its adviseable that before upgrading you create the recovery disk to reinstall the OS.

hp recovery manger dont sea recovery partition

a7medsmt,

As previously stated, the only real solution is use the HP Recovery Media you should have created when you first setup your computer. If you didn't create this media, you can contact HP Customer Support in your country/region to see if HP Recovery Media is available for purchase.

Other things to try include;

Windows Recovery Environment Is disabled After Upgrading to Windows 10 November 2015 Update

Updating the HP Recovery Manager with sp74123.exe and/or

Updating the HP Recovery Manager with sp74707.exe

Alternatively, you can attempt to "mark" the HP Recovery partition as "Active" using the Windows Disk Management Console. After restarting the computer, it should begin an HP Factory Reset. This will return the computer to a fatory like state. Before attempting this suggestions, please have software tools available to boot the computer and mark the "Windows" partition as "Active" should it not work.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
