Received a hpqtra08.exe application error 0x039a4867 at 0x039b0001.  What do i need to do?

HPQTRA08.exe is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor. It's responsible for inbound communication from the printer to your computer when the printer is connected through the network, so you need this for scanning and checking ink levels.

 

If you are receiving this error, you can uninstall and reinstall the software of the printer which is causing this error.

 

If you just want to stop this error, you can uncheck this program from Startup list of MSCONFIG. Click Start, Run, Type MSCONFIG, click OK. In the startup tab uncheck this program. click OK and restart the system.

hpqtra08.exe application error how to fix

The soltion given for hpqtra08.exe error is not acceptable.  This occurs in Windows 8.1 and I need the use of my j6450 scanner.  The software needs to be correctec so tht it works wth Windows 8.1.
