i have a HP

Product: HP Pavilion DV 6000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I went to a thrift store and found a laptop for $40 no power cord... bought one and it had windows 8.1 password protected

is there away around that or do i need to buy a disk
