i have no sound on my laptop

HP Recommended

Recently, I experience no sound on my laptop.

It is an hp Pavilion dv7 notebook pc using Windows Vista 64

I have checked the sound setup and it appears to be correct.

hello

 

are external speakers/easphones works fine?

if yes - try to reinstal driver. if wont help check sound card options maybe its not switching on internal speaker.

Last way is internal speaker damaged and need to be repaired under warranty.
