issue regarding graphics driver and brightness problem

Hi:

There is no W7 32 bit driver for the Intel/AMD switchable graphics your notebook has from anywhere.

Your only option would be to install W7 x64 if you want the graphics to work again.

You're very welcome.

If the 32 bit drivers also have the 64 bit driver files, then yes they will.

Normally, the graphics and audio drivers do not have support for both 32 and 64 bit OS'.

I suggest you use the W7 x64 drivers from your notebook's support page so you have no problems.

http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-g6-2100-Notebook-PC-series/5262606/model/5269745

However currently, all of the support pages are missing driver sections and other relevant info.

HP is aware of the issue and working toward restoring the missing info to the support pages.
