keyboard

HP 15 notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

I used my computer this morning and it worked fine, but when I turned it off it was doing a update and a restart and after that now my keyboard doesn't work only my touchscreen keyboard works. I just got it April 2015.

The process i am going to tell you is going to fix the problem but it  leaves some effects. All the update installed will be uninstalled to the version they had when you installed windows 8.1 and the programs in your Programs files(x86) NOT Programs files in C: Drive or the drive where windows is installed will be UNINSTALLED.The programs uninstalled will be listed on your desk top as Removed Applications.HTML . If you have no problems with the effects i have mentioned than procede as follows:

1.On boot tap F11 to enter Recovery.

2.On recovery go to Troubleshoot.

3.Then on troubleshoot click on Refresh your PC.

4.Wait for it to complete (takes about an hour)

5.Your Keyboard will work again.

Hope this helps. 🙂
