laptops sign in

HP Recommended
I opend my laptop but it's sign in button is not working. and I can't shut it down.
plz help

I understand you are unable to log into your windows as the sign-in option isn't working,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

 

What is the product number of your product & which OS do you have? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/document/c03754824 

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? Have you attempted a system restore using F11?

Are you at the enter a password screen? what exactly is happening are you not able to enter the password or is your password not working?
