Re: need drivers for hp 2000 ACPI\ASD0001\2

Hi:

Sorry that didn't work.

That is the driver you need, and I don't know where else you can get it.

You can try installing the amd chipset driver and see if that works instead.  You want the first file listed on the webpage.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%208%20-%2064

The other driver you need is the card reader driver...

Re: need drivers for hp 2000 ACPI\ASD0001\2

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached the driver file you need under Attachments below...

Download and unzip the file to a folder.

Go to the device manager and click on the ACPI\VEN_ASD&DEV_0001device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software method and browse to the driver folder that was created when you unzipped the file.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

You're very welcome.

I found another version and attached it.

See if it works.  Install the same way as the other one.
