need help with pavilion x360 reset

Pavilion 360
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

Any key combinations or simply holding power button do not work. Have the boot disk not found, please install an operating system on your hard drive, hard disk 3f0 screen. Sealed unit.

Does anyone know a secret?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I wish I had good news for you -- but I don't ...

There is no "secret" that will fix this, as this error code indicates that your hard drive has encountered a hardware failure -- and needs to be replaced.

If the PC is still under the original one-year HP warranty, you paid for HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.

While this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directly to have them put you in touch with HP Technical Support to see what they can do about diagnosing and repairing your machine remotely.

You should ask them about getting a driver replacement, with this PC, you might have to send it in to HP to have that done.

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836

---------------------------

It it's not still under warranty, I would not attempt the drive replacement yourself as the days of loosening one screw to open a hard drive access panel are long gone.  Forcing the case apart could easily damage the PC beyond repair, so you would need to consider taking it to a repair facility to have them do it for you.

Here is information on HP Service Centers:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372730?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0004

Good Luck
