Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought my laptop today and it says I need to activate the product key. However, every time I run the troubleshoot it says, "we cant reach our activation servers right now. 0x80072EFE". Then it asks me to put a key number in.

Any ideas how I can resolve this without buying a new key? Is this listed in any of the new materials that came with my laptop?

Your license key is embedded in BIOS- like most manufacturers have done since Windows 8. If this isn't resolved soon-contact HP Support. You should have a paper that came with laptop that has phone support number. Or you can open HP Support Assistant on your laptop and look for Support tab.
