/noexecute=optin dv2500 keeps auto-rebooting

My DV2500t continually reboots.  When I try to start in safe or any mode it loads the files and then still self reboots.  Bios settings look ok.  Recently had to replace HD with a 500gb drive.  Drive test was good, memory test good.  Won't mount.  Any ideas are appreciated!

@Mcry311, Thanks for your generous response and time.

Thanks for sharing the details.

I have checked the product specification of your PC, As I mentioned in my previous post you have to replace the part by using an HP recommended part number.

Please find the replacement part number for hard drive mentioned below.

588600-001HDD, 1TB,7.2K,HIT,JUPIT,SATA3.0,N

Also, I would suggest you try performing a recovery using recovery discs.

If you don't have one please order the set of recovery discs by contacting HP.

Link to contact HP.

Have a great day ahead! :)
