Hi@daisymv84,

Welcome to the HP Forum!

This is a wonderful location to converse with  the community, get assistance and find tips. For you to have a rewarding experience, I would like to include the following link for your perusal and reference;

What is your specific model of HP notebook?

HP Notebook PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?

I grasp that after resetting your notebook that the keyboard freezes about every 10th key stroke. You are a fast typist and this is causing you difficulties.

After resetting the notebook did you do all your Windows updates?  Did you run the HP Support Assistant ?   Here is a link that should help you to overcome this issue:

Please let me know the outcome.
