pavilion dv4 notebook CPU Upgrade

can i upgrade my processor and/or graphics in an hp pavilion dv4-1145go. i have heard that i can upgrade the cpu. i am looking to upgrade these parts without soldering, but my understanding is that the cpu has a normal socket but to upgrade the graphics card i need a new mobo/whole new PC.

Hi,

You can upgrade the processor if you do not have the Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5800 - 2.0GHz (Merom-MV, 800MHz front side bus, 2MB total Level-2 cache, socket Micro-FCPGA, 35W TDP, 65nm) installed. That is the only replacement processor listed in PartSurfer. That means that it is very likely to be the only guaranteed compatible processor. 

A new motherboard is required to upgrade the graphics.
