ram

15-AC108-NV
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i have HP 15-AC108-NV and i tried to upgrade my ram with a 4gb DDR3L Crusial 1600Mhz but in every start of my laptop i have Blue Screed of Death with different errors. Pauge fault in nonpaged area the most times but other times Bad pool header, Kernel seurity check failure , memory managemet and etc.

My first ram is Hynix 4gb DDR3L 1600Mhz also.

What is the solution and why i have this problems ?

Thanks

Can we have the specific Crucial identification off the memory module? Memory upgrading is just not the easy thing it used to be and you pretty much have to go with the specified memory modules. Did you buy the Crucial RAM off their website based on the model of your laptop? Crucial will stand behind it if so.

Its the right speed and latency but look at the original memory. Does it have 4 black blocks on the side like the Crucial or 8? That is density and mixing density can be a source of issues.

Density is not the issue. That is also single rank memory so the 2 modules should be compatible. I would ask Crucial for return and replacement of the 8 gig module.
