When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and product number (p/n) of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.
The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the startup BIOS screen. Please see How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? for more assistance locating this information. DO NOT include your serial number.
You can still create your HP Recovery Media if the HP Recovery Manager software and the HP Recovery partition haven't been corrupted, damaged or modified. You can also attempt to use the HP Recovery Manager within Windows or "F11" at the BIOS boot screen.
If the above doesn't work you will need to contact HP Customer Support in your region/country to see if HP Recovery Media is available for your computer.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, Please find below the exact details:
Serial: [Personal Information Removed]
Model: G6 - 1250se
I have tried both creating a new recovery disk and also using the recovery mode by pressing F11. both of these options don't work.
Is there no way that i can order a recovery disk from HP?
