reset pavilions dv9700 to factory default

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I want to completely roll back my Pavilian dv9700 back to factory default. How do I do that? And, will is correct bios and registry issues? There is a problem that can not be fixed and I am told that the keyboard has developed hardware issues. However, I question that as the keyboard funtions correctly in all aspects other than whtn the numlock key is selected so to lock the keypad on. I want to set factory default to EVERYTHING, not just the OS, in an attempt to correct the issue

Excuse me. I said "...the numlock key is selected so to loack the keypas on..." when it should have read to "lock the numbers pad on"
