right speaker not working of hp pavillion g7- 1150sa windows7 64-bit

HP Recommended

i have a hp pavillion g7-1150sa with windows7 64-bit. The problem is that its right speaker has stopped working while the left speaker is working properly.

what should i do? i bought the laptop only 3 months ago.

Go into control panel and click on sound.  Select your speakers that should show up there and have a green check mark on it. Try the configure option and see if it is just a setting. You can test some different configurations there I believe. Unfortunately I think you probably have a bad connection to the speaker and will need someone to open up the cover and see if there is a solder break or a tear in the speaker.

i checked the configuration option but the speaker still doesnt work. u r righr perhaps its damaged from the inside.
