My notebook say. Contact the web site above after running startup repair. It ran for about an hour and then screen has this web address. What can I do to get it working again. Not sure if it was the problem is.

Please do the following:

Imminent Hard Drive Failure - This is an early warning system for your hard drive. The internal diagnostic of the hard drive has identified that the hard drive is beginning to fail. There are a number of different types of failures that can be detected by this, including many sectors failing, the bearings failing (causing a longer than normal spin up of the platters) and many other conditions.

There is NO FIX for this. The early warning attempts to give you time to back up your data. BACK UP YOUR DATA. once this message occurs, the actual failure of the hard drive can be very short or it could last weeks or months, but the drive is failing.

Some users have performed low level formats, which can temporarily prevent the error from being displayed, but this is NOT A FIX. The hard drive is still in a failing condition. Again, back up your data at the earliest possible time before continuing.

Hard Drive not recognized - While this also can be a failed hard drive there is at least one step that can be tried. Power off the PC, remove the hard drive, remove and reinsert the hard drive cable, and reboot the PC. You may need to look up your Service and Maintenance guide if you are not familiar with the process. Go to hp.com/go/customercare and enter in your exact model number. Look under the 'manuals' section. 

Hard Drive diagnostic failures such as 303 and 305 - This is a diagnostic failure code. The hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Unlike the "imminent" error message, you may be unable to back up any data. Please remember that a hard drive has mechanical moving parts, and over time these can fail. (SSD drives do not have moving parts, although the electronics themselve can fail but in general ssd drives are more robust than mechanical hard drives)

If your notebook has two hard drives, ensure you test both hard drives to identify the failed one. In the examples above it may not be clear which drive has failed. Enter the BIOS by tapping on F10, and go to Diagnostics to test teh drive. If you have two drives then you will have the option to test each one.
