My computer fan is not working how do i fix it

HP Recommended

Its a part that can be replaced, fortunately there are alot of Internet Vendors selling computer fans, hard drives, memory modules, LCD screens, keyboard, mouse, WiFi  cards, Palmrest, motherbards, etc. Now, what is the Nomenclature (name/number) of your computer.

Hi,

Wireless ModuleNot installed or responding701Reseat the wireless LAN adapter module.

If the memory module still fails and you have valid warranty on this model then please contact with HP. How to do it? Check the link below and choose your country:
Contact HP Worldwide.

If it's not valid anymore then you will have to buy new wireless card and replace the old one. It can not be any wireless card. It must be wireless card which is on your notebook BIOS "white list" and with correct HP part number.

If you would like further assistance because warranty is not valid then please write your notebook product number (p/n) and country of purchase.

A printed tag with the Product Number, Serial Number, and Model Number has been affixed to the bottom, or the inside of the notebook case, since before the year 2000. On newer notebooks, the label may be under the battery or inside an access panel on the bottom of the case.
The following examples show typical product information locations:

Do you have the schematic on your computer, can you do self repair? You asked, " how can I fix it". I have been breaking down only certain models I am familiar with since 2003, and upgrading them., with reparable: Fans, hard drive, DDR2 memory modules, LCD screen replacement, keyboards, laptop palmrest, motherboards, replacement screws., WiFi cards, etc. This is a tedious job and takes time to break it down, and reassemble correctly, with out damaging other parts or losing a screw set.

If you are not Tech Savvy call  a repair service, or if you are in warrany call HP Tech Support.
