I need to upgrade ssd to 512gb, have seen posts on other variants but dont know how important the 4050na number is? Also most posts were about a year old and so i wondered if anyone had more uptodate experience? The Samsung seem to have many models, just paying more for faster read/write speeds but dont know how important this is and whether machine can support any or all of these speeds?

Hi@AndyAtTod,
Welcome to HP Support Forums. Best platform for all sorts of solutions, tips and tweaks to your questions/issues.

Need information on upgrading the hard drive. Is that right?
Thank you for sharing the issue details. I would like to help you.
Understand the requirement of the upgrade.
But the PC you have is already tested for the ideal hardware configuration and hence HP never recommends any upgrade/downgrade of the hardware/software on the PC.
If you still wish to do so, then it will be your sole discretion.
Hope this helps. Let me know for more.
Happy posting.
