the dreaded envy hinge falling apart issue

HP ENVY 15t-k000 CTO Notebook
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I also have the problem that everyone else seems to have with the hinge breaking. I am a stay at home mom and never dropped it and really dont even cart it around. I was careful even after that but now the hinge has come out of the screen. Unfortunately I bought my husband the same computer so I assume he will be having the same issue soon. I am going to guess the whole thing will fall apart soon, so what can I do to prevent this

@kellykelly1

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
