windows 7 won't update

I restored my HD with Acronis back to 20 July 2015.  Now my Windows 7 will not update.  It says no new updates are available.  Will an HP update solve this problem?

No, HP updates won't make a difference as they have nothing to do with Windows Updates.

Personally, I've found that MS fixes for Windows Update never work, so if the MS troubleshooter doesn't work, then try this:  Download WindowsUpdateFixer - MajorGeeks
