windows 8.1

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my laptop has gone very slow after installation of the new windows 10 update. i want to degrade to windows 8 again but i havent got any backup or bootable disk, is there a way to download it.

When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and product number (p/n) of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

 

The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the startup BIOS screen. Please see How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? for more assistance locating this information. DO NOT include your serial number. Please enter the model/product information into HP's Online Consumer Support page and post it here for our review.

Please see The Windows Club - Rollback from Windows 10 to your previous version of Windows for information on how to rollback to your previously installed OS. This option may not be available depending on how you chose to install Windows 10. If it is not available, you may be able to mark the HP Recovery partition as active ( please see Marking a partition as active). This may allow the computer to enter the HP Recovery routine after the computer is rebooted. If you are able to return to the original factory OS, I would immediately create the HP Recovery Media for future use.
