Do you know what directories Hotsync is installed in? Can you go into that folder
and check the "date modified" attribute of the files starting with OCP (I think one
is OCPNotifier and the other is OCPCalender?)
The folder is C:/Program Files (x86)/Palm
ocpNotifier.dll and ocpConduitUI.dll are dated 1/29/2016. unins000.dat and unins000.exe are 2/27/17 (because I just reinstalled - see below). Everything else is 1/4/2008 or earlier. ocpCalendarCn.dll, ocpCalendarHH.dll and ocpCalendarOL.dll are all dated 12/27/2007 (recall that I ran the 2007 conduit update).
Other other thought. Make sure that Hotsync is closed before running the installer
for the patch, and make sure the patch is run as an admin. Windows UAC can mess
up the patcher as can Hotsync being open, preventing the correct files from ending
up the right places (My program isn't signed by Microsoft, so if UAC is enabled and
it isn't run as an administrator, it will "jail" the files and prevent it from working.)
I uninstalled the 2010 and Unviersal updates, verified that Hotsync was closed and reran the Universal update. I have adminsitrator privledges on this machine and I got the dialog about "do I want to installed something from an unknown publisher" so that seemed normal.

I will certainly do my best to get to the bottom of this! I think I know where one of my Palm devices is, and it looks like I may need to modify more files finally. (which is weird since none of the files have changed)
One other question: is this Outlook 2016 through Office 365, or outlook 2016 from standalone purchase?

Ah. That might be where the problem lies.
Is Office installed in Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office?
If it isn't, that might be where our issues start. There's a really messy workaround that I can try, but no promises. Office365 sometimes runs as "Click To Run" which completely breaks Hotsync.

Yes, it is in c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16. The startup shortcut is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

Has anything more happened with this? I'm in the same boat with the calendar; I just bought a Palm TX and would love to get it fully functional (or close).
