HP Officejet 4630-Message screen says“The following ink cartridge must be replaced .”  I replaced the black one but not the tri color one, and the printer is still  showing that message.  I reset the printer but the message reappears and freezes the options buttons. Why can’t it print in B&W only. I don’t use color anyway.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.

 

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to print with single ink cartridge and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

Also, update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
