@Pinney, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Color Printing Issues with HP Officejet 5610!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer is not printing colors correctly despite cleaning and aligning the cartridges, and the ink levels are full, you might need to check the following:
Check Print Settings:
- Ensure that "Print in Grayscale" is not selected in the print driver. Open the printer Properties dialog box, click the Features tab, and make sure that "Print in Grayscale" is not selected in the Color options.
Verify Ink Cartridges:
- Check to make sure that both the black and tri-color ink cartridges are installed and functioning correctly.
- Ink cartridges might need to be cleaned. Use the automatic cleaning feature if available or clean them manually.
- Even if the ink levels are shown as full, there might be an issue with the ink flow. Try removing and reinstalling the cartridges, making sure they snap firmly into place.
Maintenance Tasks:
- Clean the ink cartridge contacts manually using a lint-free cloth and distilled water. Inspect the ink cartridge contacts for ink and debris buildup and clean them as described in the manuals.
- Ensure the area around the ink nozzles is clean if there are streaks or smudges on printed pages.
Replace Ink Cartridges:
- If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is likely that one or more of the cartridges are faulty. Replacing the cartridges with new, genuine HP ink cartridges is recommended. Refilling processes and the use of incompatible inks can disrupt the printing system, and HP does not support refilled ink cartridges.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
