Hello HP Community!
I'm tearing my hair out (well, what's left...) with this issue.
I'm wanting to print onto 5x7 photo paper, borderless.

No matter what I try, the print always comes out with the top cut off and the bottom with a white blank section (pictured below).

I work with computers, printers, tech etc every day at work, so would like to think I have moderate knowledge with this. I've tried absolutely everything possible to resolve this - checking printer settings in a program I'm using, checking printer settings in HP Smart, checking the direct printer settings via the access to it's menu, I've tried adjusting page sizes, borders, borderless printing, image sizing, checking the firmware of the printer, checking all my computer updates, trying different size methods including non-borderless printing...

Yet the result is always the image being too high. The sides never have an issue. but the top and bottom are off. Every time. Sometimes better, sometimes worse, but always off. Sometimes, the printer even skews the paper so it prints off angle which is even more infurating. I feel like this printer, despite even having a setting to detect 5x7 paper when inserted, is incapable of doing it. Despite it being able to print A4 AND 6x4 perfectly fine with no issues.

It's not just limited to printing from my PC, either. Even using the HP Smart app on my Android phone yields the exact same results - so I'm certain it's the printer simply not knowing what the heck to do about 5x7 paper, despite being told numerous times it 'DOES support that size'.

I've wasted SO many pages, as well as SO many of my allocated Instant Ink page allowance, to try and resolve this extremely irritating issue. It's 2023 and I can't even print a photo without having so many issues.

No matter what print dialog box, device, setting, configuration, attention to loading the paper carefully and correctly, can resolve this issue. Is there anything I'm missing? Why can't my printer do one simple task?

(Also, on a somewhat related note, the HP Support website is truly abysmal. I cannot add my latest printer to my account/my devices. I give it the serial number, and it just refreshes the same page and starts again. Another section of the site asked me to login for more information, and not only was I ALREADY logged in, but clicking login just refreshes the same page. Not to mention every third or fourth page you visit changes the location to US when I REPEATEDLY tell it I'm in the UK, and my account says UK. I haven't disabled any cookies - why can't it remember? When you're already annoyed at your misbehaving printer, this just amplifies my disappointment with HP in general.)
