Hi @HARM8710 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a printing issue like this can be frustrating. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem:

1. Check Printer Status and Connection

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and properly connected to your network or device.
  • Make sure the printer is selected as the default printer on your iOS device.

2. Run a Print Head Cleaning

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the maintenance or tools menu.
  • Select the option to clean the print heads. This process will clear any clogs in the nozzles.

3. Print a Test Page

  • After cleaning the print heads, print a test page from the printer’s menu to see if the problem persists.

4. Check Ink Levels and Cartridges

  • Even if the printer shows that the ink cartridges are full, try removing and reinstalling them.
  • Inspect the cartridges for any packaging materials that may not have been removed.
  • Ensure the cartridges are seated correctly in the printer.

5. Update Firmware and Software Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up to date. You can usually update it via the printer’s control panel or through HP’s software on your computer.
  • Check for any updates to the HP Smart app on your iOS device.

6. Reset the Printer

  • Power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and power it on.

7. Reinstall Printer on iOS Device

  • Remove the printer from your iOS device and then reinstall it.
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners, and delete the printer.
  • Re-add the printer by selecting “Add a printer or scanner” and follow the on-screen instructions.

8. Check for Software Issues

  • Try printing from another device to see if the issue is specific to your iOS device.
  • If it prints fine from another device, you might need to reset or update the iOS device.
