Just replaced the black ink cartridge and I was prompted to align the cartridges.  I can not get a decent alignment page to print (see below).  And then when I go to scan the alignment page, I get an error.  I don't want to spend another $45 on a black cartridge if something more serious is wrong.  The printer sees the black cartridge and sees that it is full.  I have cleaned the heads and done the deep clean.  I have cleared smears.  I have verified I have the latest drivers and firmware.  I've unplugged the printer.  I have put the old cartridge in for 10 minutes and then replaced with the new cartridge.  My Pinter Quality test page is below.  Do I spend another $45 and roll the dice on this being a bad cartridge or replace the printer?Alignment Page.jpg
