I recently developed issues with print quality.  Replaced color cartridges as needed and quality didn't get any better.  Inspected transfer belt and found toner backed up in wiper area.  Ordered a new Transfer Belt Cleaner device (it is part of the Transfer Belt and is the part where excess/unused toner is removed and transported to a container for future disposal). 

In that shipping box, was a small bag of white power, which I'm sure is supposed to be added to, or applied to some surface.  I think it needs to be applied to the wiper that rests against the Transfer Plate but I'm not sure.. 

Hope someone out there will be willing to share its purpose and were to apply it.

They can help you with the unit repair or part replacement.

 

I request you talk to HP Phone Support and they will help you to sort it out as it requires advance support or repair.

 

1. Click on this link -  https://support.hp.com/us-en

2. Select the country.

3. Enter the serial number of your device.

4. Select the country from the drop-down.

5. Click on "Show Options".

6. Fill out the web form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
