At my wits end on 910 ink cartridges

I am at my wits end with HP sourcing 910 color ink cartridges.  Two of them have been on recall since last spring with no apparent supply chain solution, with no end in sight.  Forces me to print everything with black ink or risk losing the printer completely if I deplete a color ink cartridge.  Talking to HP customer support is a joke.  Have tried to refill at Costco and that is a cartridge they don't refill.  Have tried off brands from Cartridge World and they too are sold out.  Feel HP owes me a new printer.  I have been a loyal HP printer user for many years, but this is turning into a deal breaker where my next printer will be another brand.  Anyone have a solution?

HP OfficeJet Printers - 'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message

This document applies only to these HP Officejet and Officejet Pro printers that use HP 910, 912, 914, 915, 902-905, or HP 935 ink cartridges:

  • HP Officejet 6810, 6820, 6950, 6960, and 8010 printer series
  • HP OfficeJet Pro 6230, 6830, 6960, 6970, 8020, and 8030 printer series
