HP OfficeJet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer

I have follow all the instruction provided by HP to reset my printer due to printer is not recognizing the black cartridge, and the problem still persist. Any other advise please?

I understand that you are facing issues with the black ink cartridge.

 

Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges?

 

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

Here we have a faulty, black cartridge. Please turn the cartridge upside down for about an hour. After that time, re-insert the cartridge and run an automatic cartridge clean (You can also remove the tri-color cartridge from the printer when running that cartridge clean to save ink :winking_face:). 

 

If this doesn't help, you can reach out to phone support.
