macOS 11.0 Big Sur

WHEN I print photos on glossy photo paper my black ink won't dry, only complaint I have with this printer, do I need a special kind of photo paper for this printer. HP Envy 5052?

Hi,

Make sure the settings are correct.

When you load the glossy paper to the tray evaluate the prompt on the printer screen.

If it prompts for Plain Paper, click no or Edit and select HP Photo Paper Glossy or Other Glossy Paper.

 

Also from the computer make sure you select the proper paper type within the Media & Quality tab, using wrong paper settings for the print job may cause such result.
