Bad quality of cyan print

My OfficeJet 6950 has started to print cyan not evenly but in bands. I tried to clean the printheads several times with no results and I also tried to remove the ink cartridge, clean its contacts, unplug the printer and re-install the cartridge, with no success. It may be a coincidence, but the problem started immediately after an automatic update.

 

Here's the result of the test print and of a full cyan page. The pattern seems to be very regular.

Apologies for the inconvenience. There was an issue with the new lot of HP 902 Cyan and Yellow ink cartridges for this model printer and they were recalled. If the Cartridge was manufactured in Malaysia and the Warranty End Date is between April 1st, 2022 and September 18th, 2022, please do not use this ink cartridge.

 

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options for the ink cartridge or to check its availability. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know-how.

 

Also, check if the printer/ink cartridges are eligible for a replacement. Refer to -  'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message

Thank you for the answer.

In the meantime, I contacted the HP Technical Support: under their suggestion I replaced the cyan ink cartridge with another one sent by HP for the Instant Ink subscription, but the problem didn't changed. Both the cartridges are manufactured in Malaysia and the one used for replacement expires on10/2022. After such trial they decided to replace my printer.

 

In the package previously sent by HP, all the ink cartridges expire between April and October 2022, should I request their replacement?
