Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
The black ink stopped working recently on my OfficeJet 3830 for no apparent reason. I've replaced the cartridge with a new HP 63 XL black cartridge but still not printing. I've run the on-line HP diagnostics including cleaning the cartridge, hard reboot, confirmed the printer firmware iss current, checked the alignment and still not printing. The printer was unplugged for about a week as we were traveling and when we returned, I plugged it back in and then printed a short 2 page document which the black ink stopped after a1/2 page (very poor quality)
I'm not sure what to do next other than throw this printer away and buy an Epson or Cannon
