Product: HP ENVY 5646
Over the last couple of days my black cartridge appears to have failed. I managed to print off a couple of A4 pages, mostly with black text and a little colour. But before the third page printed I noticed an error message on the printer’s screen, “Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed".
I have followed the support details and attempted everything possible and cleaned the cartridge contacts with a cloth several times now.
I have had the HP Instant Ink contract since I originally purchased the printer so there has only ever been HP cartridges fitted.
It appears very difficult to contact HP other than through these ‘Product Discussions’, so could I kindly request that nice soul send me a response and provide me with a replacement cartridge.
Just one other thing, with my first receipt through the post of a replacement, the cartridges were both seemingly double-sized, but on the second occasion they were ‘standard’ size. Presumably this is to reduce the frequency of replacement.
Thanks so much for any help you can provide.
Kind regards
StopStartSteve 🙂
