On my HP Photosmart, a new black cartridge, properly opened, unwrapped, and clicked in, will not print -- nor will another new one I tried. All three color cartridges and the photo black are functional, and all area also HP cartridges. I've run all the diagnostics on the printer, and nothing changes -- the Print Quality Diagnostic always shows an empty panel for the Black cartridge. My computer, however, show Black as being full under Supply Levels. I went through the Virtual Assistant routine and performed all the steps, except for taking out the print head and washing it in warm water, which I decided was overkill and unhelpful. Any suggestions?
